In the picturesque area of County Down a developer with a fantastic concept is planning to build, a new 5 star luxury golf course, hotel and spa resort. The location of the site remains a closy guarded secret until details are released by the developer to the public. Needless to say it will be very well placed to everyone in Northern Ireland and I would imagine very popular.

Currently at an advanced planning stage with 3D models, fly through videos etc, no-one can anticipate what the real time view would be like from the hotel bedroom windows. So what would that amazing view look like?

Colin Williams Photography was contacted by the developers in the hope that we could assist in obtaining aerial panoramas at the required heights of 20 and 40 metres above ground level. By using our unmanned aerial vehicle and associated hardware, including GPS technology, our operators positioned their UAV at precisely the right altitude of each floor and photographed. The real time panoramic views which will be seen from the window were captured with a short time period. The end result of our photography produced stunning images making fly overs for the concept design easy for both stake-holders and planners to see exactly what every floor has to offer even before the first sod has been cut.
